2288 / 2288V
Hearing Aid Compatible 150Ω Earphone
The 2288 earphone is typically used in K-Style handsets and incorporates slip terminals, which accept standard .250" spade connectors. The 2288 is similar to P/N 2286 (which has screw holes instead of slip terminals).
This element is available with an optional click-suppressing varistor (P/N 2288V). The purpose of the varistor is to protect the users' hearing by limiting the maximum output of the earphone element, and is a uL requirement for some applications.
Elements are available in a variety of custom impedances that may require minimum purchase quantities and varying lead times - contact our sales department for more information and pricing.
