Two-Way Radio Handset/Cradle Accessory

Fully-assembled G-Style PTT handset with a bulkhead-mount cradle assembly. Both the handset and the cradle are made from telephone-grade cycolac plastic (ABS). The handset is pre-wired into the cradle with a coil cord. The cradle switch is a reed-type switch located on a printed circuit board which is actuated by the handset earphone's magnetic field, and thus doesn't require an actuator slot. The cradle has variable length multiconductor cable that has various types of connectors depending on the type of radio that the handset/cradle interfaces with. Options include an attenuation circuit, which drops handset audio approximately 20dB. Contact the factory for options to suit your application.

A new optional feature is the covert mic (covert microphone), which allows sounds in the vehicle to be monitored remotely for security and safety purposes. This feature operates when the handset is on-hook and is particularly useful in mobile applications such as busses, subways, trains, and other public transportation.
